cameras similar to rolleiflex tlrs?
what are some cameras that are similar to the rolleiflex TLR? such as yashica and seagull?
for the money, you can’t beat a YashicaMat 124 or 124G. Before I bought a new seagull, I would get an older Yashicamat. If you want one that I can guarantee is good, look on ebay and find the one that is presently for sale by Mark Hama who used to work in the Yashica factory in Nagano and then moved to the US to become head of the Yashica service in the US. He sells his guaranteed ones for about $350, but you can find one on ebay for less than that. There is one there now that has just been CA’d for $250. I recently bought one for $200 complete with closeup lenses as well as wide angle and telephoto lenses. I got another for $100 bucks that works well and gives good results. I have seen tehm sell for as cheap as $65.
You can blow horns about Rollei if you want to, but in the end the difference will be shown in the negatives and you will not be able to see the differences.
