Can anyone recommend a rugged, Waterproof, Digital Camera?
I currently have a Cannon s3IS, of which I’m verry happy with, but have found that the past couple of trips that It’d be nice to have something that was rugged, smaller, and waterproof to carry around on casual trips or to the local waterpark. I am looking at the Cannon 10D as a possiablility, but the fact it dosen’t use AA’s dissapoints me a bit. Does anyone have experience using waterproof camera’s and have an opinion of the current line of waterproof models. Also, if anyone knows of a dirrect link to a hard case that is waterproof to the Cannon S3IS that would be helpfull as well, as I cannot locate one.

Ikelite makes a housing for the S3IS, but hope your sitting down ’cause it’s about $600!
Don’t let the fact that the D10 ( I knew which one you were talking about) doesn’t take AA’s dissuade you from buying it. The proprietary batteries that come with it last much longer than AA’s.
I have an Ikelite case for my little Canon SD630, it’s bombproof! But it cost about what the camera did.
If you like your Canon, I’d consider the D10. I’m probably getting one.
