if you dont have any of theses cameras then post pics from your camera and make sure to say what kind it is, where you got it, and the price.
If you have it narrowed down to a ‘short list’, you’re further ahead than most people on this forum. 8^)
The thing to do is to look up all these cameras on http://dpreview.com. They have reviews of almost every camera known to man. The thing to do is to download the test shots taken with each camera, view them on your computer and zoom in to see how sharp the pictures are. The number of megapixels is important, but the sharpness is not always related.
After that, it’s just a matter of what features you want and how much you want to spend.
