What can be done to protect the camera lens during the rain?
I recently went out during Hurricane Hanna and Hurricane Ike to take pictures of what was happening in my place. I have some good photos [including birds] and some video clips. However, there is a problem. At one point the rain came down biased and burning my face. I ignored it until I got the desired clip. However, the raindrops on the lens appeared in my video and some photos. How I can get rid of raindrops that resemble expanded the balloons? I am interested in preparing for another occasion, wedding or social event when raining.For those who wonder, I was not in danger because for some photos, there was no rain and hot, like being in kitchen.Where I can find equipment to be used to cover the lens of my to not wet when it rains? Very difficult to answer than when not even tell us if you have a P & S or SLR !!!!! Protect the rain is REAL ugly face, but I know some people take along a ziplock bag and use rubber bands to wrap around the front to the front of the lens (In case of an SLR).
