How to take really good shots with a sony cybershot digital camera? Advice, Tips, Techniques!?

Hey! tell me anything that will help me get better shots with a regular digital camera!?

Right now I have a Sony CyberShot DSC-W210, and its been pretty good. I would say learn about the rule of thirds (google it) and then go to your camera and press “menu” and click down untill you get to “grid line” and turn it to on. It can REALLY help your shots. Makre sure not to keep it on auto, and use every other setting so you can always find the best one.
Read your manual, its SO important. When I first got mine, I only skimmed through it. But you HAVE to read it, I can’t stress that enough! Haha well most of all practice with it and experiment.
Keep your camera in a case so it doesn’t get scratched up or broken. If someone you know has a tripod, borrow theres because it helps so much when you take pictures at night with the flash off. For cool night shots with lights still in it (Like a streetlight illuminating a tree) set it to a low ISO (100-400) on the “P” for program option. It will be on the dial. Then attach the camera to the tripod and take some shots. A tripod stops it from getting blurry.
Ah well theres all the things I wish I would have known when I got mine! Some of the settings might be different if you have a newer or older model than mine, but they should be about the same.
Have fun :) I tried to write alot of advice so try and consider it so you can take some spectacular shots! lol
