Would need 40X ZOOM, flash, atleast 7 Megapixel still pictures and offcourse a good lens.

Wow if I found what you are looking for I would be the happiest man in the world. As of now there is nothing that does both particularly well. About the most resolution you are going to get is 4mp and even then the pictures generally arent the best quality. Also very few have flashes. Plus most of these camcorders arent very good for taking video, or they are extremely expensive. As of now you are MUCH better off buying 2 devices. The product you seek just isn’t there… yet.
