A unless it is a Studio XPS with some very good specifications, I would go with Sony. I say this because the XPS is actually a very aggressive price range, if you have money for that type of laptop it is. But otherwise, get the Sony EB. It is the same that I have asked and done a lot of research. Oh, and if you really asked online directly through Sony, if you talk to a "specialist in Sony Style" (there is a link that appears to on the site) that will give discounts along with free shipping options, etc. .. I built a book and ended up paying $ 1,157 total $ 1,051 and with express delivery. One last thing, if you get Blu-Ray, do not waste it in a choice of Intel integrated graphics, get at least the next update, which I think is the ATI 5470.
