Sony Camera Memory Error
My Sony’s camera memory card scandisk says “file error” where can I go to have it fix to get my pictures back?

There’s a chance the pictures are recoverable. First, don’t use that card in any camera or write into it.
(1) Check to see if the card dirty contacts. If it does, use an eraser and gently erase the dirty contacts. You may have to trim the eraser to fit the slot between the contacts. If that does not work…
(2) Google or yahoo “image recovery”. You will get many links to software that does image recovery. Select one and download a trial version, install it and have it scan the card. Most likely, you will be able to recover some of the pictures.
The image recovery software will scan the entire card and restore deleted picture to another location (your hard drive) if it finds any.
