computer virus VS my camera ?
i recently bought a sony cybershot .. now im thinking if it’s okay to put the memory chip to the pc to upload pictures in my pc ..
btw .. my pc is infected with virus .. the C drive esp. .. and that cannot be removed (i guess requires reboot) .. and im not sure if the chip will be infected ..
tho .. when i downloaded songs in my mp3 .. it got hacked and now is severely damaged .. and i have to buy a new one .. ..
so what do you say ?.. should i put the chip in my pc ? .. or what ?

Why not remove the virus? Install malware bytes and run a full scan, preferably in safe mode …. As far as I know, computer viruses dont effect cameras ! Cameras have a different OS where these viruses cant run, so is the case in case of mp3 … It must have been some other reason it got damaged … So, no issue to plug it in, if its urgent … Else , scan with malware bytes and then insatll a good antivirus like AVG free and update it …
