My computer is not recognizing my CyberShot camera plugged into the USB port?
My mom gave me her Cyber Shot camera (DSC-W7), and I am trying to put the pictures onto my computer. My memory card reader is not recognizing the card, so I used the USB cord. The camera seems to know it’s hooked up to my computer, but my computer is not recognizing anything is plugged in at all. I tried to download a driver at the Sony website, but it’s asking for a CD ROM code! I don’t have a CD ROM, it’s an old camera….is there any way to get these pictures to my computer??

I have tried the card reader and USB on 2 different computers, both do not recognize it. I called and my parents do still have the CD that came with the camera, so eventually I can get that from them…I was just hoping to get these pics sooner than that!
