help with my sony camera?
for christmas i got a sony cybershot 14.1 megapixels camera, and i want to upload pictures to my computer.
i have pluged it in correctly and put in the disk at the same time on my macbook but it comes up with a screen on the camera that says USB mass storage memory card + internal memory. i have the memory card and battery in the camera and the battery is charged. and im not sure how to get them on my computer. can someone help?
Hi Maeve:
As you probably discovered already, the Sony PMB software does not work on a Mac. The screen on your camera you are seeing is wanting you to Select WHICH of the 2 camera memories to “connect” to the USB link. Once you do that, the camera will show up as a drive on your Mac.
If all your pictures are on the memory card (and not on the camera internal memory), then you can also use an external USB Memory Card Reader to transfer your files to your laptop, instead of via the camera’s USB link.
