what website can tell me about a Sony Handycam CCD-TR81?
I think it came out in ’05, and a friend just bought it but has no knowledge of it. is there anyway I can find out if it was considered a good quality camera and , well, just ratings or opinions on it?
i have googled it and all i get are replacements parts and prices on ebay . I just need info on it! thanx everyone. I should have asked the community about advice on buying a TV and camera. that will be in the NEXT questions, LOL!
you can’t get info because it is a very old camera. it definitely did not come out in 2005, the Hi8 system was already obsolete by then. it is more like a 1990 model. it does not come close to miniDV in any measure of quality. The “hi” in Hi8 means it is better than Video8, which is not saying much because Video8 was the lowest resolution analog video system ever made.
