Does anyone know where I can get a replacement LCD display for a Sony DSC P72 digital camera??
I took a bad fall with the camera in it’s case but on the side I fell on. About a week later, I turned the unit on and the LCD display was shot. Sony wants $111.00 plus tax and shipping to fix it. I’ve only had it a little over 1 1/2 years and new cameras start around $200 at 6 megapixles – twice my resolution. I would appreciate it if any user knew a source for a replacement LCD display at a reasonable price. Thanks.
With the price of cameras going down so much, repair isn’t worth it anymore it seems. (disposable world now!)
You might try contacting camera repair shops to see if they have any cameras saved for ‘parts only’.
