SLR Camera Rain Cover
How could you take a camera out in the rain?
Aside from an underwater casing.
I have a D-SLR (Pentax K-x) so it’s not like with my point and shoot where I could just cover it with one hand and snap a photo with the other.
I don’t have a hood for my lens, and the lens is just the standard 18-55mm DA-L lens issued in the camera kit.
It’s just that there’s a thunderstorm forming outside and I wanted to get some cool lightning shots.
Any innovative ideas?
I always carry a cheap plastic poncho and a few velcro straps in my bag. I’ve used a 600mm lens in the rain with that setup. You can use a large ziploc baggie and some rubber bands. Pick up a lens hood, so you can attach the bag around the front of the lens with the rubber bands. Then just let it drape over the camera body.
SLR Camera Bags – Buy Camera bags and cases
SLR digital cameras are several of the most excellent digital gadgets out there, and the majorities are fairly big in contrast to compact cameras. In addition to this, they have a removable lens, which refers in finding a bag huge enough to suit everything is often hard. Here are a fairly a several SLR camera bags have believed to be the top:
Classical Mini Trekker
This bag is fairly huge, and is better for those traveling around a large number of gears. To be exact, it is a high-quality bag if you’re holding around too much camera and equipped 5 lenses.
Micro Trekker Camera Bag:
This camera bag is good, and probably the finest for SLR digital cameras. It’s not excessively huge, but has sufficient spaces for all the parts of your gadget. You could suit up to 4 lenses within this single bag (support lenses), and is as well assumed by holders to be extremely comfortable to put on and bring around. It includes a back belt and waist belt to make it simple to take around.

It could fastened around your hips, and it as well comes with a climate cover (water resistant in short), making it better for adventurous photographers.
Off-Track SLR Camera Carrier
This carrier is ideal for photographers leaving on climbing or camping tours. You can store up the lens with its SLR camera in the major area, and can suit little additional lenses on the side. The bag just goes around your hips, dissimilar to various other bags that have to be place on your rear.
Road Wired Photo/Video Changeable Carrier
This bag is fairly big in compared to most of other great bags. It has approximately 20 pouches, so users could fit various cameras as also lenses. It can as well be accustomed among a shoulder bag and a belt bag. It as well has a “secret” pouch where you could place vital objects like keys or cash. It can as well be used as rain shelter in bad climate for all you climbers and campers!
When choosing a bag, you have to consider precisely what you would need to place in it. You don’t wish to take an extremely huge bag when you are just using it for single SLR camera. Make sure to choose something that fits your needs!
Like mentioned, the kind of SLR digital camera you must buy relies on the kind and capacity of photography you take with you on an average basis.
