In today’s society both parents usually work and are unable to be at home when their children arrive home from school. This period of absence causes a great amount of anxiety for most of us parents. First we worry if they made it home and then we worry about what they are doing once they arrive home. We call to check in on them, we set rules for them to follow while they alone but we always have to worry if these measures are enough to protect them and make sure they are doing what they are told to do.

It can also send an email alerts for many events like motion detection, burglar alarms, open doors, and etc. For instance say you want to know when a child arrives home after school while you are at work a Security DVR can be programmed to send email alert to your office computer when it detects motion from a security camera during the time that your child is suppose to arrive at home or when your burglar alarm is disarmed. Even simple sensors on doors can also trigger an email to be sent when a door is opened. Then just log into your Video Surveillance system and see your child safely made it home.
