Seagull TLR Camera Question….?
Ive been looking at buying a TLR Seagull and was wondering if they have a decent light meter on them? and anything else someone could tell me about them would be very helpfull…would i be better off going on ebay and getting a yashica or mamiya?
Don’t buy a Seagull, the build quality on these medium format TLR’s are notoriously bad. You are much better off sticking to a Mamiya TLR or Rollei TLR rather than having to continually send the Seagull in for repairs.
As for the idea of buying a camera on Ebay it is sort of a crap shoot unless you are buying from a reputable seller. I would suggest you go to a good online used camera broker like KEH.com. They have lots of used mamiya tlr’s for sale ranging in price from $95-$500
