How can you take photos of products with a pure white background?
Like best buy, amazon, etc, where they have the product and no background shadows and the background is a pure white, not off-white or blueish white. Please don’t say “it’s called photoshop”, unless you can describe how you can do it with photoshop. I tried by adjusting brightness, contrast, remove color cast, and etc, but I can never get it at the same level as other photos I’ve seen on other websites. I also tried the curved white cardboard background, in the sun, late afternoon, and at night with only artificial light. Even tried buying a lighting kit from Ritz, but the background still comes out yellowish (although I did buy the cheapest one). Oh, and I use a sony digital camera, about 2 years old. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

That thing seriously saved my life on many shots, and it’s incredibly easy to construct.
