A new polaroid land camera.?
Okay so a few days ago, I got a polaroid land camera

at a local thrift store.
And I have a few questions about it.
1. Does it use a battery and if so what kind and where can I find it.
2. Does it have to use a special kind of instant-develope film?
(I saw some at walmart, but it was the 600 film and I don’t know if that would work or not.)
If your camera is a Supercolor 1000, then it uses the old Time-Zero film, which is no longer made. It was phased out in 2006 and is very difficult to find. Type 600 film can be used in this camera, but you will need to modify the camera and film pack slightly to accomodate the faster film speed of the 600film:

If your camera is a Supercolor 600 or similar, then the 600 film will work fine. Polaroid stopped making this film at the end of 2008, so it is still relatively easy to find, but you better stock up. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
