USB cant detect my digital camera and MP3 player!!!?
My digicam is a Samsung Miniket Photo (w/ webcam, mp3 player, videocam, storage, voice)and my mp3 player is Creative Zen Neeon 2. I have it running with my old computer and when I change my hardware, it doesn’t recognized my digicam and mp3. it says “USB device not recognized.” It even says that usb device attach has malfunctioned!!! I tried it to my laptop and it says the same! PC OS is XP service pack2. and Laptop has Vista Home Basic. the device manager state that there is no driver installed on these device! Please I needed solutions!

This has happened to me. The PC says the USB device is not recognized or sometimes it doesn’t read that I have attached a USB at all. There are certain things that requires you to install a cd or driver which usually came with your gadget. But in my case the problem was the usb cord itself. I got a different USB cord since I think they are standardized and used the one for my digicam for my MP3 or vice versa and it worked. good luck! =)
