Order Wolf Camera Prints

I want to print about 10 (yes, only ten) legitimate looking CDs, where should I go?

Okay, so my friend and I made a joke CD about a year ago, and her birthday is coming around, so I figured it’d be awesome to print up an album (as in a full album cover and all) and give it to her. I also want one, and if any of her friends wanted one, I could give them to them. Therefore, I would order off of a website, but all I can find on the web is bulk orders. What do you suggest?
Do camera stores, like Wolf stores, have things like this?
I don’t think I’m willing to pay more than $30.

Producing a custom CD can be very expensive. $30 is a small budget to work with for a project like this. Take my advice below.

Talk to a local sign shop. They can print on vinyl (like a sticker decal) and can apply it onto the cd for you. This should run you about $2 per sticker (most shops have a minimal $20 run). That leaves you with $10.00 left. The other option is to buy an Avery cd kit (which usually retails for $30.00, NOT leaving you with a budget big enough for the other materials).

For the actual CD cover/insert istelf: check with a local print shop. You’ll probably need to cut and fold the insert(s) yourself because they charge an arm and a leg to cut & fold. This should run you about $2 per “printed” booklet (depending on the number of pages AND how many you can fit onto a single printed sheet of paper). For the sake of argueing, lets count 2 booklets. You have $6.00 left.

You’ll have to buy the cd case from wal-mart. They usually sell a 10-pack for $5. That leaves you with $1.

You should be able to produce 2 cd’s with $30. This is assuming that you know how to design using Adobe (or any other design software) for real output. Otherwise, an art fee will be involved for design which will push you well over your budget at $65.00 an hour. Good luck.
