Where to print digital photos?
I have perhaps 50+ digital pictures that I want printed, I’m in the Vancouver, BC area. I suppose a place like Futureshop, Walmart, superstore etc. would let me print them right? Any recommendations for cheap/fair pricing and good quality?
I haven’t done this before…I know you can upload photos online and pick up at the store right? But is it possible to say put all the pictures I want on a memory card and bring it to those little booths? Or can I put everything on a CD and give it to them and they can print all the ones I’ve put on there? For these things, is there a size limit or anything?
I’ve seen those picture booths and ppl sitting there and selecting pictures, can I do that if I bring a cd and my camera + memorycard? Or give it to them somehow/order there?
Thanks! =D
You can bring your memory card to any of these places and put it in the machine and order prints. You can also upload to any of these sites and pick them up in the store. There is no size limitation if they are in JPEG format.
If you choose to upload them make sure you upload in the original size if you want any prints larger than 4×6. Most of these websites will shrink the file size to make uploads quicker by default but you wont be able to make any larger prints from them. Choose to upload in original size any you will be fine.
You may also want to try some of the online print services but I think Wal-Mart will probably be the cheapest per print price.
