Olympus Digital Camera Macro Setting
Help with Olympus digital camera?
I have an Olympus Camedia C-4000 digital camera.I’m trying to take closeup photos of some jewelry.When I set the camera to macro mode,the manual says that I can get within a few inches of the subject.Whenever I get that close,there is a big dark shadow on the lower left side of the photo.If I back off a little,the shadow disappears.I really need to get closer.There is nothing in the way when I shoot up close.Any ideas?
hi! are you using the flash? if you are, it might be that the flash hits the barrel of your camera (the one that extends the lens out of the camera) and this produces the shadow. also check for items around you that could reflect the flash and produce unexpected shadows after clicking the shutter.
also, check your light sources and make sure that you or your camera is not blocking it when getting close to your subject.
