I need help picking a Verizon smartphone?
I need a new Verizon Smartphone but I cannot seem to find any phones that are suitable. I prefer a phone that has wifi, a 5 mp camera, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack but no phones seem to have all these qualities. I am willing to make some sacrifices such as a 3.5 mp camera etc. but there seems to be no phones that come close. I can go for either touchscreen or non-touch and have been looking at the Blackberry tour but was disappointed when i found out it had no wifi connectivity. I also was considering the Omnia II but its release date seems to be too far off. Can anyone out there point me towards some upcoming or current phones that meet most of my requirements? I need to buy this phone within the next month and a half and I can switch to AT&T if absolutely necessary but will not buy the iphone. Thanks all for any answers.
Why do you need wifi? On Verizon you must pay for the $29.99 unlimited data plan anyway so wifi is kind of a waste. The Omnia has all the features you ask for but honestly window mobile phones are very low in customer satisfaction. They are laggy and horrible for heavy texters they tend to freeze. If you can live without the wifi, the Tour has EVDO rev A so is very very quick data wise, has an excellent camera and blackberries are rock solid and have the highest customer satisfaction in the industry. (Higher than even the iphone – *gasp*)
