Advantages of DX lenses for DX cameras?
This might be a silly question but what are the advantages of using DX lenses?
I am using a DX camera (Nikon D90) but one day will eventually be moving up to a full frame. So I’m buying lenses that I can use on a full frame as well.
Right now I have a Nikon 50mm 1.4, Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 and Nikon 18-200mm DX (which I will sell to help purchase an FX later on). Looking to pick up a Nikon 35mm f/2 (just getting into street photography)
Lower cost. Lower weight. For people who can’t multiply it’s easier to determine the focal length use.
