Mounting camera to motorcycle?
The idea has occurred to me to somehow mount my camera to my bike (or myself) so I can film riding. This is just a casual idea; I’m not working on a documentary or anything.
What options do I have for doing this? And can this be relatively inexpensive but safe for the camera?
I can’t remember what kind of camera it is. The bike is a zx6r. I’m willing to pay a few bucks to ensure the camera is securely mounted but I don’t want to spend a ton of money on a whim.
I don’t really care if the camera is somehow mounted on me or on the bike itself. I don’t care if I film what’s in front of me, behind or to the side although facing forward would be my first choice.
If all else fails, I’ve thought about hanging the camera around my neck and slinging it over my back. And hope it doesn’t choke me.
Thanks everyone! I’m off on vaca so I’ll look at these when I get back. So I’ll put it up for voting.
This tank mount might be your best solution. Its a long link so I hope it works.
