My friend dropped my camera?
I got a Kodak PlaySport last week and was really excited about using it. I spent a lot of time saving money to get it. Then, I decided to try it out with a few of my friends.
I was surfing through my pictures when my friend tried to grab my camera out of my hands and then dropped it.
It got scratched severely on the bottom and has a deep ding on the other side. It still works fine, but I planned to use it for a long time, and I couldn’t believe that she just crashed it.
This was only three days after I got the camera. Is it unreasonable to ask her to replace it? I hoped that she would buy me a case for it, but there isnt one yet. I thought about covering it with a sticker, but then it would have to be waterproof. (The PlaySport is a waterproof camera.)
Please help! How much is reasonable to ask from her?
I agree that she should buy me a case, but there currently arent any silicone cases for the camera. Should I ask her to buy it when it comes out, if ever?
Um, she should be paying for it if you don’t have waranty. Try seeing if you have that, so then you can just get it fixed for free but make her buy you a case for the future.
