Are Kodak digital cameras any good?
I want to buy a camera that’s good quality with megapixel ranging from 9+ i came across the Kodak EasyShare C913 Digital Camera for only 55 pounds at asda….is that any good? If not do you have any recommendations?
Talking from my own Kodak experience, it was good, but I used a Schneider-Kreuznach lens Z650 (same with C875, although I wouldn’t say its any good if you’re into photography, for which an SLR and a selection of lenses help).
The C913 doesn’t have good glass, so it’s gonna be pretty useless. Oh and the EasyShare software is total and utter crap so a card reader is compulsary.
I would recommend looking at a Nikon or Canon with less megapixels and more lens. And always try before you buy, check for sharpness, chromatic abberation, vignetting across the zoom range as well as focus speeds, light/dark sensitivity (ISO speeds). Finally remember that often the lens costs more than the rest of the camera, and that a good sensor is wasted without a good lens, and generally German and Japanese glass is good.
