Can you make a decent video with a digital camera? (Kodak?)?
How long can the movies you record be and will the quality look decent once uploaded to the computer/internet? I know it wont be as good as a camcorder but I was just wondering how good the video recorder in my Kodak Easyshare will be =) Oh, and if I have a large memory card in my camera, say 2 gigs, will the video recording be able to go as long as the memory allows? thanks much and i will be giving out a best answer =]
Decent is relative. For making low quality YouTube video’s, sure.
If you want to make videos you are going to cherish for years to come, then no. Only a real camcorder will do that.
To the second part of your question: Most newer compact digital cameras will “roll” until you have run out of memory … others have time limitations on them. This should not be a problem, since most video “takes” are less than 30 seconds. Just time each scene when you are watching a movie or TV.
