Why does my Kodak PD600 printer dock occasionally loose “contact” with my PC?
Every now and then my printer dock stops communicating with my PC, I then have to reinstall the software and it works for awhile?????? why???, no errors pop up, i just printed a pic selected another one to print through the Kodak easyshare software and it says error…ink cart. good…paper good….no jam?? this has happend ever since I’ve owned the camera/printer…Dec. 2003
Do you have an antivirus program that is deleting the drivers? Have you updated the drivers on the Kodak website?
Try this:
Start> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Services
Scroll down the list and find “LexBce Server”. Double-click on it. Change the startup type to AUTOMATIC and then click START to make it run. Click APPLY. If this ever happens to you again do this step and it will solve it.
Also check “Print Spooler” and do the same thing: AUTOMATIC, START, and APPLY.
