How do I erase the internal memory on my Kodak camera?
Ok, heres the deal. I have a Kodak EasyShare C330 camera and a ‘Scan Disk’ 1.0GB Memory Card. It held about eh, 200 pictures when I first got this camera, and now the internal memory is full and I have no idea how to delete it. I’ve tried formatting it but it does no good, it still says I can only take 18 pictures.. which it should obvioulsy be more than that, so I dont know what i’ve done wrong. Would appreciate help!! Thanks!!
You must check first which memory your camera is using. Whether it is Internal Memory or Auto. To check:
1. Turn on your camera
2. Press Menu button
3. Scroll down to Image Storage (menu options are shown on the middle but menu name is at the upper right hand corner)
4. Once Image Storage is highlighted, press OK button.
5. The one with the check mark is your option.
If it is Internal memory, then you can only take few photos since you are using a 5MP camera.
I suggest that you switch back to AUTO so you can save pictures on your 1.0GB memory card.
And you need to transfer those pictures to your computer cause memory card will not save images if they are full as well.
If you do not need those images then format the internal meomory and memory card. To do so:
1. Turn on your camera
2. Press Menu button
3. Scroll down to Setup, press OK
4. Scroll to Format, press OK
5. You will be given the option to choose between Internal or memory card
Please be reminded that formatting deletes everything. If there is something you do not want to delete, then do not format it.
