Which programs I can remove from my computer? A lot of things listed do things that I don’t understand?
We seem to get alot of bundeled program packages and I don’t know which programs are needed and which are optional. We have alot of media files I have a dig camera-it came with software-we have a dig movie camera it came withi ts own set of files. I use pinical studio for the movie prep work but I have microdoft movie maker as well. My hp printer came with some photo programs. Guess what? some of these things don’t work well together and I dont know how to determine which programs and files to keep and which ones to get rid of.

When you go to add/remove programs, look at the list. If you know what the software is and do not use it, it’s probably safe to remove. If your not sure what it is, try searching the internet for it to get some insight. Sometimes people use an application all the time and don’t even know it (e.g. WinZip, or Acrobat Reader), so be somewhat careful.
Obviously you probably want to keep windows updates, anti-virus software and similar things.
