What is your recommendation for a first SLR camera?
Hi All, I wish to finally take the step in to SLR cameras. I am by far not an expert on cameras. I have researched much and yet still confused. Here is what is important for me: To be able to take great night shots, HD video, a decent to very good zoom and to be able to take eqaually great wide angle shots, I wish to be able to blow up shots and not lose the quality. I am going to Japan soon and wish to upgrade. I am liking the Canon Rebel T1i and the new lines of Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2A even though I do not think Panasonic is that known for cameras. My budget is $850.00. Can anyone recommend something to me and why? Of course I am open to other brands. Please let me know if the camera you recommend comes with the wide angle lens and if not which models would you recommend? I thank everyone in advance for their time and detail. Also, what is a better Sd card to go along!
