Looking to buy a Camera for my Trip to England. Need Advice?
I’m a 24 year old girl heading out for England for my first time. I’m going there to take pictures specifically for drawing purposes. I am an artist. What sort of Camera should I bring with me? I need a zoom feature, and high quality since I will be using my pictures for reference.
I will be taking pictures of things like castles, landscapes (Yorkshire – including forests, close ups of things and landscape photos of the open fields, city scape pictures (London) during the day and night. Detail is important and so is a no-shake feature.
It needs to be digital as I am uploading onto my computer, needs an area for a memory unit as I am probably going to be taking hundreds of pictures if I can for my portfolio and it needs to be a well known, dependable, brand.
I was hoping to get something under 200 dollars.
Thanks!
I did some looking around, and it’s pretty tricky to find a good camera with a good zoom on it for under $200, but I did find two:
The first one is the Canon PowerShot SX120IS, and the second one is the Nikon Coolpix L110
The canon is smaller and you could probably fit it into your pocket, but the pictures aren’t as good as the nikon. The nikon also has a much longer zoom on it, but it’s too big for your pocket. Either are great cameras, but I would recommend going to the store and holding both of them to see which feels best for you.
