Sony Digital Camera lens stuck out?
I dropped my sony camera on the ground, and now the lense sticks out. It’s like, part of it is dented in a little, while the other part is just fine. It won’t fix, and I can’t take pictures, it’s just all black. Someone PLEASE help!!
It’s a Cybershot 7x Optical Zoom and Carl Zeiss name is on it. It’s silver, and I got it a few years ago.
There is no help, I’m afraid. Cameras are sensitive little things that don’t take kindly to being forced to suffer 100-g shocks at the lower-end of a fall.
If you send it in for repair, the bill will likely be considerably higher than the cost of a new, much better camera.
