How do I change the F-stop settings on my digital camera? Olympus FE-5010?
I just bought a olympus fe 5010 and i would like to know how can i adjust the f-stop value ? to get an image with a sharp object in the front and a blurry background ? there are some pictures on the menu that shows the ability to do this , however when i tried (with portrait mode ) i wont get as blur as it showed on the advertisement and sometimes i even get a very bright object with a very dark background .
Please tell me how .
First off, your camera doesn’t support changing these settings. Secondly, avoid P&S cameras if you want that particular effect – due to the size of the imaging sensor on P&S cameras, even at the largest aperture they have a HUGE depth of field which will make the effect you’re seeking almost impossible to attain.
