I bought the Olympus FE-340 two weeks ago
Charged the battery first.Two weeks later the Battery is low. Should I keep the battery in the
camera when not in use(for long period of time)or
take it out? When I put the charged battery back in
will I have to reset the time and date?
Li-ion batteries keep their charge for a long time. I have left mine in my old D100 for over five years and only charged them when necessary … usually after about 450 shots …
Just be sure to fully charge them before you go out shooting and leave them in the camera when you finish shooting.
The old non-rechargeable batteries can still leak if left in any electronic device, but the Li-ion’s are a whole new and different technology.
