Digital Camera not functioning with batteries.?
I have a G.E.(General Electric) A950 Digital Camera. The camera seems to work fine with the exception of one problem, the batteries. No matter what batteries I put in the camera, new or used, I always get the message: ” Warning! Battery Exausted.” and it turns back off. I have tried a lot of brands of AA batteries including duracel, energizer and sunbeam. Sometimes when I turn it on the batteries seem to work and I can use the camera, but when I turn it off and then turn it back on, I get that annoying message again. The camera is not damaged or anything as far as I can tell, does anyone know whats wrong with it ?
I also used rechargable Energizer batteries
not all batteries are the same… just like power adapters. Despite you might be using “AA” batteries, there are different output power levels for the different “AA” batteries. Next time you’re looking at the batteries, you’ll notice some of the numbers and codes on the sides of the batteries look a little different… Can’t remember what the codes look like off the top of my head, but if you use regular batteries, expect to only snap a couple shots before they’re exhausted. However, if you get the lithium batteries specifically made for digital devices (yes, they do cost more $$$), you’ll notice the codes on the sides of the batteries are much higher than the codes on the generic batteries that last for two shots. I’d personally recommend getting the rechargeable energizer or duracell batteries and the charger specifically made for them.
