How can I find my Scan Disk Compact Flash Memory Card after I have inserted it into my computer?
I have an HP315 Photo Smart Digital Camera that stores the photos on a 64 MB Compact Flash memory Card.
I have an HP Pavilion A414X Computer with the Compact Flash slot.
Now my problem is, I put the memory card in to take some picture off of it onto my computer, then I clicked the program to “Safely Remove Hardware” and I removed it when it told me it was safe.
Then I took somemore pictures.
Now when I insert it into my computer, nothing.
I am not prompted to do anything, and the little blue light dosent come on.
Has anyone else had this problem? How can I find it on my computer, so I can remove the photos from it?
When I click “my computer”, the only removable storage that shows up is my CD-Rom and my Floppy.
I was just wondering if I shouldn’t have clicked the “Safely remove Hardware” program.
Everytime this has happened, I useually have to restart my computer, so that it will recognize it and read it..

yes but i have never actually ran into such a problem and my wife is a shutter bug and she hasnt ran into this problem. i recommend that you take it to a professional. i know for certain that you dont have to click on “safely remove hardware” to pull out your flash card because my wife doesnt have too. she probably just leaves it the heck alone when she something she don’t know about.
