Has digital cameras coupled with HDR techniques made Graduated neutral density filters obsolete?

Of course they are very useful for film but what about digital photography?

I think they are still very useful. HDR’s do not do the same thing, and they always give your picture that HDR quality which sometimes is cool but a lot of the time just ruins it.
