Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 14.1 MP Digital Camera
I purchased this camera through Amazon, and was happy with the method and therefore the speedy delivery. I had used SLRs back within the 70′s and 80′s, however had stuck with a spread of purpose and shoot cameras since then. this is often my fifth digital camera, and that i wished to upgrade to a camera with a lot of advanced options, however while not the expense, weight, and complications (like lens changing) of DSLRs. i’m an amateur photographer who travels therefore quality, weight, and options matter a great deal to me.
The serious contenders to the current camera were the Canon Powershot SX30IS, the Nikon Coolpix P100, and therefore the Panasonic DMC-FZ100. All four cameras seem to be nice cameras, however I selected the Panasonic DMC-FZ40 as a result of its wealthy feature set and worth for the cash. The others didn’t quite meet my desires for one reason or another. for instance, the Canon may be a very little too giant and serious.
So far, i’m very happy with the FZ40. it’s a solid feel, handles all right, and whereas I actually have not mastered all of its options however, it seems to be what i’m yearning for during this form of camera.
My biggest hesitation concerning buying it stemmed from the battery issue. Insisting on using its own whole of battery is ok, as long because the battery is accessible to get. This seems to not be the case thus far. In my opinion, it’s inexcusable to unharness a camera, knowing that there’ll be a requirement for added batteries, and not having the batteries obtainable. I trust that this example can soon be resolved, therefore I went ahead and created the acquisition. I gave 5 stars as a result of the camera. The battery issue is vital, however I didn’t wish to require something far from the camera itself.
Panasonic did a decent job in delivering a feature-rich camera, with terribly cheap performance, at a comparatively cheap value. I feel bound that if Panasonic had the batteries obtainable, these cameras would fly off the shelves.
