Can you recommend a Good Digital Camera?
Im looking for a compact digital camera to take on holiday with me but there are a few features on there I would like but have no idea where to start looking for them lol. So I thought I would ask on here to see if anyone has or knows of a camera that has what I want.
Here are the features I am after:
10+ Megapixel
Metal casing (Plastic just seems so tacky, and I feel like Im gonna break em lol)
Rechargeable battery
Decent zoom
And finally, the most important feature, I dont want any shutter delay, I have a camera with shutter delay at the moment and its so annoying when you try to take a picture of someone or something and they have moved before its taken all because of the delay!
I thought maybe the Samsung L310W, but I saw a video review of it on youtube and it seems to have quite a shutter delay. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Easy. Panasonic LZ10 direct from AMAZON UK (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DMCLZ10-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B0018J76JU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1249566230&sr=8-1 ) is the best budget compact camera. Forget more megapixels, this has a Leica designed lens so you can make decent use of the 10 that you have.
My second recommendation is for the Fujifilm EXR series. They have 10-12MP sensor which uses a witchcraft to create a 6MP image with no noise or higher dynamic range. They’re new on the block but hold a new niche in the market. I’d highly recommend it if you like to take landscapes (without SLRs) or photograph in low light.
Now in terms of shutter delay there are two issues.
1) Composure…cameras with AF programs won’t let you open the shutter until it has an AF lock, this means if you don’t have an AF lock you won’t take a picture by accident that is out of focus, but also means that you are likely to miss the shot. In order to to prevent this there are two techniques:
a) Press the shutter button halfway down, and when it’s in focus you then tell your subject that you are ready to make the shot.
b) Go MF, this means getting an SLR or prosumer/bridge camera. Cameras such as the Canon G series and Panasonic LX range have this.
2) Plain old lag…well this is where the big names tend to have the advantage. Canon, Nikon, and the other camera makers (they make cameras…not electronics) have got this down to a tee, but Sony and Panasonic are no further behind as the only established electronics makes in the Camera industry.
3) Flash recycle and write speeds – basically if the camera hasn’t finished clearing up after the previous shot it won’t let you take another. This is very dependant from model to model.

Recovering lost/deleted photos from Nikon Digital Camera
If you are looking for digital camera with supreme quality and reasonable price then nothing can be better than Nikon digital camera. Nikon having leadership in Digital and SLR camera industry was established in India in May 2007 as Nikon India. It’s a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation Tokyo. In last decade Nikon has established itself as a brand and launched large range of cameras worldwide. It’s camera known for best picture quality and high zooming feature. Few of its popular models are Nikon D 3000, Nikon D 90, D40 and Coolpix L18.
Doesn’t matter whichever model you are using, no one guarantees of safety of digital photos. There is always a threat of virus attack or memory card’s corruption. According to survey SD card used in Nikon digital camera is never considered to be safe as far as the storage perspective is concerned. One must have a proper backup of all digital photos. But in case of no backup one need to use Nikon Camera Recovery tool to recover lost photos.
Last week my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby. I was grateful to God for giving me an honor of becoming father. I wanted to store all those special moments so that captured all in my Nikon Digital Camera. Formatting installs new file system on the disk and makes you enable to recover lost photos using Camera Recovery Tool. But be ensure doesn’t write anything on the disk before using recovery tool. It reduces the chance of recovering photos. So avoid any type of overwriting. Also while selecting the one from internet need to be ensure that one you have chosen is read only one and doesn’t modify original content.
