Digital Camera Canon Powershot Sx100
I am looking for a compact digital camera that takes good pictures and details of shows.?
I take pictures of my children. So I'm looking for a camera that photographs can be blown up at least a 8×10. I always liked taking pictures of nature. I have the Canon PowerShot SX100 IS now, and I love it but its too bulky.
Canon makes the best digital cameras out of anyone. Thus, tiny Canon is in your price range would be perfect. When three megapixel cameras came out, they were finally good enough to produce 8 x 10 photos. So anything over 3 megapixels is fine. And each device sold today is far superior 3-megapixel camera, they are all around 12 or more today! The only reason you would ever really need 12 megapixels is if you make large poster-size! So do not worry about the number of megapixels. If you have a choice between two cameras that you like and it has 10 megapixels and the other 14 megapixel, do not assume the 14-megapixel camera is better. In fact, many times higher megapixel camera can be worse, because they are crammed too many pixels into a small sensor that can cause other problems in image quality. IGNORE megapixel (because that all the cameras above 3 megapixels is good enough for 8 x 10) and if you choose a Canon, everything you need to worry about the size of the camera, and any other characteristics or size of battery you need. Canons have better color accuracy and image quality of any camera digital, so if you stick with this brand again, all you have to worry about the size and price that suits you best and you should be together.
