How do i change an mp4 format video?
i have this video camera -

and in the instructions it only tells me how to play the files, which i can already do.
to edit my videos on Windows Movie Maker, for some reason its telling me the videos have to be a different format like “avi” or “mpg”. can you tell me how to change the file type or something, so that it will allow me to import my videos onto movie maker?

i tried what Sparkly Star said and it worked at first, but then when i tried to import in onto movie maker, it said – FILE0024.MPG could not be imported. The selected file is not valid or is corrupted. HELP?
Here’s a freeware programme that will do that for you. It’s called FormatFactory, and will convert many types of audio, and video file to other types.
