I’m worried I got done by a speed camera.. This is the “story”?
I was driving down a long straight 2 laned road, which is one way. The speed limit is 30 on it, but admittedly you could happily do 50 or more on it.
The speed camera was a mobile van one and was parked on the grass on the right hand side of the right lane…
I was originally in the left lane and they were going pretty slow and there weren’t many in the right lane, so I went into it. I know I went faster then just because it was clearer, but I’m not overly sure how fast.. But I did slow down pretty fast because a car was pulling out of a slip road and I flashed to let him out and slowed right down.
What would be the speed you’d have to be going to get done? Would I need to be going at that speed for a certain distance? How far do the mobile speed camera see? I’d imagine the fastest I went was 35 or 36.. It might of been slower and I’m just being paranoid. But like I said, I slowed down fairly fast.

If you get this paranoid about speed cameras the obvious thing to do is stick to speed limits.
Theres a little man that sits in the back of the van watching and recording and it is he who determins who are the real law breakers. At 32/33mph they may let it go but any higher and your pushing it.
Also i think they may watch you for a short distance, i dont think they’d nail you for drifting over a touch, plus your speedo is probably a little bit over, mine is by 2mph.
