Whats the best wireless home security camera products you can install yourself?
My friends like to mess with me, allot. So I figured I’d take matters into my own hands and ruin all there fun by catching them in the middle of whatever there doing so it hopefully wont be fun for them anymore and they’ll stop lol. So I was wondering if there were any wireless camera systems I could hook up outside, but hide them so they never know there even there. and if there was a way to get the live feed onto my computer or if somehow I could be alerted when someone was there somehow, some help lol
There are some standalone wireless cameras offered on Amazon for around $150. Most of them come with software that will alert you if they detect motion. For probably twice that, you can get into the range of purchasing a DVR system with multiple cameras. If you go to Amazon here:

You can see the search for the wireless cameras. I don’t know how much money I would put into them. I would look for a DVR system instead. Here are some general guidelines on purchasing a DVR system:

Much of the software too that comes with these systems works by analyzing the pixels in the photo. If it notices a change in the pixels, it can send you an email or an SMS to your phone. They can also record for a long time, several weeks at a time usually depending on how many cameras you have. If you want to go with a system that has more cameras, then consider this one from Amazon:

That has 8 cameras. One thing to realize about most of those systems is that they put more money into the DVR system instead of in the cameras. So when you buy the cameras in a bundle package like that, they might not be the best quality cameras. If you compare them to a good camera, you can see some of the differences in night vision for example:

Cameras that have a larger lens let in more light and so they give a better image. See if you can actually go somewhere where they have some of these systems setup (maybe Costco or Sams Club) and get a demo before you buy.
