Looking for a compact digital camera with RAW mode and a macro setting for shooting?
Any suggestions…..coolpix has macro setting but no RAW…anything else?
The Powershot G9, recommended earlier, is a good choice.
The RAW capability is useful even in point-and-shoot cameras. My wife, definitely not a photographer, has a point-and-shoot camera with RAW capability. I have Canon digital SLRs that use RAW. I’m able to tweak her images, where needed, using the RAW file format, just like I am the files from my higher-end cameras.
