My Kodak Colorburt 50 instant camera !?
I recently discovered my parents Kodak Colorburst 50 Instant Camera dating from the early 1980s. I found out that its still in perfectly working order and only requires whats known as a ‘film pack’ film and batteries to work again. They also have a Polaroid Land Camera Supercolor 600 ! Do you still get Polaroid films made for these cameras and where could I buy them ? Please people, I recently started studying photography and my Polaroids could come in handy some or other time ! I would love to get some informative answers on this !
Kodak was sued by Polaroid, and Polaroid won. Kodak had to stop making film for their instant camera. AFAIK, no company is producing film for your colorburst. Pol 600 will not fit the Kodak. but should fit the Land camera if it says 600 on it.
Polaroid is indeed getting out of the instant film business very soon. Fuji is making some of the peel-apart film. Look for some Chinese company to buy the rights to make the 600 type film some time in the future. At the moment, it is still available.
