okay, im going on a field trip before the end of the school year and i already have a camcorder that takes pictures but of very bad quality and the format of them suck, you cant get it big at all, now dont get me wrong the camcorder takes wonderfull video

i plan on taking video and pictures with it because my camcorder is too expencive to take and a little big to carry around all day and i need something to fit in my pocket but yeah just wondering if its good or not?
People have given it pretty good reviews. But the battery life is poor. It uses AAs, and one brand that is good is Sanyo eneloop rechargeables. I would be sure to have enough batteries along on the trip. Four of these batteries cost around $11, I think. Get a charger, too.
