Which Digital SLR Camera?
I am trying to decide which Digital SLR camera to buy –
Nikon D300
Sony A350
Canon Rebel Xsi

The Nikon is priced WAY highter then the Sony BUt they seem to have the same sensor – I don’t know enough to figure out the major diference in the two –

The appropriate Nikon for your list would be the D80, not the D300.
Either that, or compare the Canon 40D, Nikon D300, and Sony A700.
There’s a lot more to a dSLR than just the sensor. The Nikon D300 has weather sealing (you can take it out in the rain), a metal body instead of plastic, it shoots at 6 frames per second instead of 3, it lasts twice as long (over 100.000 shots vs. 50.000), it has faster auto-focus, it has more buttons and switches to change setting on the fly (instead of having to dive into the menu all the time), and so forth. It’s a MUCH better camera and well worth the extra price.
Having said that, all of the cameras I’ve mentioned are very good and worth the asking price. You’ll just have to decide what features you’re willing to pay (extra) for.
