How can I make posters out of my digital camera photos?
I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W170, 10.1 megapixel camera, and an 8gb Sony Memory Stick Pro in it.
It would be nice to make some posters out of them for the walls; typical poster sizes and basically stuff I can’t print out on regular paper on my Canon Pixma MP950 printer.
What I need help with is figuring out first, where to go… a place like Kinkos or a non-chain local place? IWhat would I look for that will have what I need to print these out? Also, I assume I should put my pics on USB or CD, but any recommendations in terms of re-sizing, cropping, coloring, etc. that’s best for posters?
Finally, what kind of paper should I ask to print it on, and what can I expect to pay? Went to Kinko’s yesterday and it was confusing and ineffective so I’d like to try some other place if possible; I live in Lincoln, NE.

1) make sure that your camera is set to shoot at its highest resolution
2) to assure that you do not get any camera movement, place the camera on a tripod and use the self timer to release the shutter. That way you will not get any camera movement when your take the shot.
3) do NOT do any cropping unless your image ratio is something other than your poster size print. Then just crop the over size portion of the print to your liking preserving the most important part of the photo.
